Fully endorsed by City & Guilds, the content of the course is produced in a series of ‘micro learning’ activities (around 4 – 5 minutes in length) and will be available both online and offline via a mobile application. Assessment of knowledge will be a regular feature within the course – ensuring that learners fully understand how to navigate and interpret the Wiring Regulations in their updated form.
As part of the course, you will have access to three practice examination tests in order to prepare for the City and Guilds 2382:22 examination. A certificate of completion is issued upon finishing the course which can then be presented to your local assessment centre, if they offer an 'exam only option', in order to take the exam (which is paid for separately).
The IET is also an official City & Guilds Online Examination Centre for the City & Guilds 2382:22 qualification. If you would like to arrange for an online examination following successful completion of your IET Academy course, please do email us at academy@theiet.org (further costs apply).
This course does not include a physical copy of the Wiring Regulations or the exam itself. To book an exam, please go to the City and Guilds website to find an exam centre near you and ensure that they offer an 'exam only option'.
