Engineers and managers today are all expected to have a degree of familiarity with project management concepts and techniques. There is a range of project management methodologies in use now and there are different qualifications available. At their heart, however, they share the same basic concepts and techniques.
This course is designed to give you an understanding of those concepts and techniques, regardless of your specific operating environment. It provides you with a toolkit to successfully manage and deliver engineering and technology projects. It adds the ‘how’ to formal methodologies, such as PRINCE2®.
This course complements the different methodologies and qualifications. It is an ideal way of familiarising yourself with the essential tools and techniques and will stand you in good stead whether you decide later to pursue a formal qualification or not. Concepts and techniques are clearly explained, and the approach is thoroughly practical throughout. No prior knowledge is required.
