LED lighting design is an important topic and should acknowledge that LED lighting must be appropriate and adequate for the space it is designed to be used in. Issues can arise if the lighting design is poor, which will be discussed in this unit. This unit will cover the requirements for the design of LED lighting systems, the considerations taken when designing commercial and industrial LED lighting such as glare, colour temperature and colour rendering, and the available software that is used to design lighting systems in buildings.
