Be recognised for your skills and achievements by becoming professionally registered with the IET.

Professional Registration is a status offered to engineers and technicians who can demonstrate their knowledge and skills and embody qualities such as competence and commitment to professionalism.

Registration categories include Engineering Technician (EngTech), Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and Chartered Engineer (CEng) and are awarded in conjunction with the Engineering Council UK.

We also provide ongoing support for professionally registered members to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and record their CPD via our Career Manager platform.  All IET Academy courses and units provide CPD hours.
