This unit introduces the role that directors have in establishing and maintaining an organisation's culture.
By the end of this unit you will be able to:

• Understand the importance of culture within organisations
• Identify the benefits of a good culture
• Understand how culture is set within the board of directors
• Understand how to cascade culture to management and the wider workforce
This unit is aimed at engineers looking to transition from being a manager to a director, and newly appointed directors from an engineering background looking to further their personal development.

Paul’s specialisms include management, company direction, energy efficiency and renewable infrastructures. Paul acts as an ambassador to the Institute of Directors and is a member of the IET. In 2016 Paul was awarded the Institute of Directors' “New Chartered Director” title and is a fellow of the IoD.
