In this unit we review concepts about signal processing, random processes and estimation.

Signal processing is necessary in order to use and extract useful features from the data coming from sensors.

Random processes are important in modelling and describing phenomena that vary in random manners.

Finally, estimation is a branch of statistics that extracts useful information from random processes and in the last section of this module we will investigate some aspects of it.
