Connected and Autonomous Vehicles: Human Factors and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) Unit 6 - Workload, Distraction and Human Error

In stock
Unit overview

This unit will explore workload and distraction, which are particularly important when considering lower levels of automation in CAVs (Levels 1-3), but arguably are also important for any design where you want to consider the task demands (how easy/difficult) associated with the use of a product/system. Human error is also a fundamental topic in Human Factors closely aligned with workload/distraction as errors are frequently the result of high/low values.
