If you are either working in academia studying Human Factors issues for CAVs or in industry conducting R&D, you will need to have some basic understanding of how to carry out research in this area. This unit gives an overview to key considerations for research with human participants. The focus is on experimental research, which is the most common form of research undertaken. Nevertheless, the majority of the concerns relate to other types of research, such as descriptive (surveys) or evaluation studies.
