What you will learn
• Identify definitions of usability and user experience and how/why they differ
• Understand how usability can be measured according to different components
• Appreciate why satisfaction as a concept is no longer sufficient to consider the range of experiences users may have with modern computing products, which will include CAVs
• Realise the relationships between emotions, moods, sentiments and pleasure as they relate to product design
• Explore how products/services such as CAVs can be designed to enhance pleasure
Who should learn
The course is aimed at anyone at any level interested in the how the human integrates as part of the CAV system. This course will be of interest to anyone keen to understand more about human capabilities and challenges in the development of CAVs and user interfaces.
