Connected and Autonomous Vehicles: Connectivity Unit 4 - Advanced - working within MANETs, VANETs for future ITS
This unit is about typical implementations of VANET in practical applications. Several EU and USA research projects are introduced and the relevant architectures explained. Special attention is given to use cases demonstrating the use of such networks and circumstances where the usage is of great help to the driver. Finally a number of simulation products are considered for testing of the communication paradigms before field deployment.
