This unit will cover the basics of game theory and mechanism design (reverse game theory). We will discuss key terms and principles in the field to give an overview of the topic as well as providing more in-depth resources. We also give real-world examples of game theory applications. Finally, we give possible uses for CAV systems of the methods and theories that we discuss.
