Unit overview

We will give a quick introduction to the main concepts and challenges behind CAV coordination in module 1. module 2 will consider local path coordination problems - these are scenarios where vehicles in close proximity to each other coordinate their actions. In module 3, we will apply this to a larger scale, where we coordinate the actions of fleets of CAVs that are not necessarily in the same location. In module 4, we will discuss techniques for solving coordination problems, and in module 5, we will briefly explain how CAVs can coordinate without a central controller that has full information about the entire system.
